Don your finest garb (Italian if you got it!), grab your masks and get ready for a full day of dancing and excitement. In addition to our traditional flirting contest and cloved fruit, be ready to strut your stuff in our mask and sleeve contests. Why sleeves? Because in period, outrageous sleeves were in style…and then out when the laws said so. So be creative! A table of gaming for the less-than-reputable will be available, but watch out for the Inquisitor! The day will begin with dance practice beginning at 1pm and continuing through the afternoon until 5pm, after which a potluck dinner will be served, so bring a dish to share that doesn't need an oven. The ball will commence with live music at 6pm. There will be three sets of dancing with two breaks, one that will be Hole in the Wall, and the second Baronial Court.
