We have a new location this year for Black Rose Ball, and that is the Westerly Armory.

Directions from the North and South:
From Route 95: Take Exit 1 (Rhode Island). At the top of the exit, turn right and follow this road (Route 3) about 6 miles into Westerly. When atop the railroad bridge, look right and you can see the Armory -- so turn right after the bridge onto Railroad Avenue.
From Route 1: Take Route 78 and then the first exit. At top of exit, turn left (Oak Street). Follow this up and down a hill and through one light. Armory is on the left, about 300 yards after light.
By Train: The historic Westerly Train Station is 200 yards away. From Providence, Boston, Connecticut, and New York, you may take the Amtrak Regional service.
The closest hotel to the site is the La Quinta Inn Stonington, CT. It's a little over a mile from the event site and the current room rate is $79 a night (there is NO group rate for the ball). Upon the autocrats' snooping of the area, we discovered a great selection of local dining establishments within walking distance of the site. We recommend the Jasmine Thai and Sushi on High Street for those that love Asian Cuisine. It was affordable and beautiful.
